Final Analysis

There are simply too many positive things to say about the Schwinn AD2 Airdyne Exercise Bike. While not as traditional looking as the AD4 this model has a much more modern feel and attractive design. It adjusts easily to anyone and has tons of various workout features that make it simple and fun to get in shape!

A few cons would be the seat is a little uncomfortable and there are no stationary handlebars for those simply wanting to focus on legs (however the stationary foot rests are great). Overall a truly fantastic exercise bike!

  1. I bought this bike because I liked the way it looked, to start with. It isn’t a spinner bike and it isn’t a recumbent, it’s a more “air fan” type stationary bike. I really like the moveable arms that give my upper body the workout it needs and it really does a good job of that.

Another great part about this bike is the resistance levels! They’re infinite! Yes, you heard me right! You get as many levels of resistance as you can possibly handle. I’ll never use them all, but I figure this is a really good feature either way.

The price is the second major factor that made me buy the bike. $399.00 isn’t all that much to pay for a high quality exercise bike like this. I have really bad knees, so the doctor recommended that I get an exercise bike of some type to make them stronger again. I finally decided on this model after hours of research and I believe I made the right choice.
